The establishment of the Love Hanoi Club stands as a testament to the spirit of solidarity, consistently oriented towards the homeland of overseas Vietnamese in France.

The club aims to foster unity and strengthen bonds within the Vietnamese community in France and across Europe, collaboratively working to contribute to the development of the homeland.

As part of a series of initiatives aimed at fostering a sense of returning to the homeland, the Love Vietnam’s Seas and Islands Club in France organized an exhibition on November 18 in the Arcueil area of Paris, showcased paintings and photo books depicting Vietnam's seas and islands, along with the introduction of the Love Hanoi Club in France.

The event garnered significant attendance from overseas Vietnamese and French friends who harbor deep affection for Vietnam. It played a crucial role in spotlighting Vietnam as a welcoming, peace-loving nation and people, serving as an attractive destination for both French and international friends.

Tran Thu Dung, co-founder of the Love Vietnam’s Seas and Islands Club in France, emphasized that the exhibition aimed to perpetuate the spirit of love for the homeland among generations of Vietnamese living and working abroad.

Particularly, she highlighted the importance of providing the French-raised generation with a profound understanding of the developments in their homeland, the conditions on the island borders, and the tireless efforts of the navy in safeguarding the sacred waters and islands of the Fatherland.

Dung expressed her hope that through such activities, they could continue to rally donations and support—both material and spiritual—from overseas Vietnamese in France and Europe to aid the soldiers stationed on distant islands.

During the exhibition, Dung announced the club's plan to send 50 guitars to Truong Sa soon for the soldiers safeguarding the sea and sky of their homeland. Additionally, they aim to provide books, school supplies, and clothing to the children on the island.

Simultaneously, the Love Hanoi Club of the Vietnamese community in France made its debut during the exhibition, featuring unique musical performances deeply rooted in Vietnamese cultural traditions.

Nguyen Thu Trang, the President of Love Hanoi Club in France, shared that the club, established on August 1, 2023, aims to foster unity and connectivity within the Vietnamese community in France and Europe.

“The overarching goal is to collaborate in contributing actively to the development of their homeland through practical emotions and activities,” said Trang.

She added that the primary objective of the club is to support children and promote tourism development.

Trang emphasized that many children in Vietnam face challenging circumstances but exhibit a strong desire to learn and excel academically.

To enhance educational opportunities for students in need, the club has appealed to the Vietnamese expatriate community in France and across Europe to contribute and donate towards establishing a scholarship fund. This fund aims to assist underprivileged children facing challenging circumstances in achieving academic success in the country.

Furthermore, the Love Hanoi Club aspires to serve as a bridge for tourism development by organizing support and connection activities.

These efforts aim to facilitate Vietnamese tourists in accessing essential services during their visits to France and Europe, as well as provide support and guidance for French and European tourists exploring Vietnam.

The establishment of the Love Hanoi Club stands as a testament to the spirit of solidarity, consistently oriented towards the homeland of overseas Vietnamese in France.

Running parallel to Love Vietnam’s Seas and Islands Club, the Love Hanoi Club will actively contribute to fostering connections among the hearts of Vietnamese expatriates, cultivating a stronger bond with their homeland. This initiative aims to amplify the strength of global solidarity, ultimately contributing to the construction and development of the homeland and the nation.
