The centralized building and those of its branches for government services would be equipped with the latest facilities and technologies.

Vice Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen signed off announcement No.1875 approving the pilot project to set up a modern administrative service center in the city.

The Hanoi Party Committee has instructed relevant agencies and units to urgently review and complete the necessary processes to submit the proposal for approval by the relevant authorities

Once completed, the project is expected to improve the quality of service for citizens and organizations handling administrative procedures and public services in the city.

During the implementation process, particular attention should be given to the construction of the center's main headquarters (located at 197 Nghi Tam Street, Yen Phu Ward, Tay Ho District), as well as its branches and service points.

These should be equipped with the most modern facilities, equipment, and technology, it noted.

Additionally, a thorough review of the functions, responsibilities, work processes, and relationships between the Public Administrative Service Center and the city’s departments, agencies, and units is essential to avoid overlap and duplication.

A special mechanism and policy for recruiting high-quality personnel should be developed immediately, along with support measures for staff, officials, and workers at the Center, its branches, and service points. Furthermore, a mechanism for hiring experts and entering into long-term contracts with employees working at the Center, in line with the provisions of the amended Capital Law, should be swiftly implemented.

The Party Committee of the City People's Committee, in coordination with the Party Commission for Communication and Education, is tasked with directing media agencies to widely disseminate information to the public and businesses about the functions and responsibilities of the Public Administrative Service Center.

This will help raise awareness of its role in handling administrative procedures, providing online public services beyond administrative boundaries, and contributing to socio-economic development and the promotion of digital citizenship, in line with the Government’s Directive No. 06, the City Party Committee's resolutions, and the broader vision of building a "Civilized - Modern - Cultural" capital.
