The "Vietnamese Cultural Night" is an event with the goal of offering a cultural experience to the Hungarian people, providing them with insights into the rapidly emerging and increasingly influential Vietnam.

On November 3, the "Vietnamese Cultural Night" event was held in Budapest to introduce and promote Vietnamese culture, tourism, and cuisine.

A Vietnamese traditional folk dance performed at the event.

The event was attended by the Vietnamese Ambassador to Hungary Nguyen Thi Bich Thao, local leaders from Budapest, the President of the Hungary-Vietnam Friendship Association, Botz Laszlo, as well as a significant number of writers, intellectuals, and people from Hungary.

During her opening speech, Ambassador Nguyen Thi Bich Thao expressed her gratitude to the leaders of Budapest's District 4 for their close collaboration with Vietnamese associations and businesses in Hungary to organize the "Vietnamese Cultural Night" event.

This event aimed to provide the Hungarian people with an opportunity to embark on a cultural journey, offering a glimpse of a rapidly growing Vietnam with nearly 100 million people.

Vietnam is experiencing substantial economic and social development, increased global integration, and is gaining a prominent position on the international stage. It has also become one of the most appealing tourist destinations in Asia today.

The program was a practical and meaningful initiative. It not only allowed the Hungarian people to gain a better understanding of Vietnamese cultural, artistic, and culinary values but also strengthened the cultural cooperation between the Vietnamese Embassy and District 4 in Budapest. This contributed to fortifying the traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Hungary, a relationship that has a history of over 73 years and was elevated to a Comprehensive Partnership in 2018.

The event created an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, drawing a significant number of Hungarian friends and members of the Vietnamese community in Hungary.

The program featured diverse art performances, including modern songs, Ao dai displays, and Vietnamese folk dances, along with exchanges of Hungarian folk songs. A notable performance was the rendition of the classical music masterpiece "Hungarian Dance" by Hungarian artists, which left a profound impression.

Furthermore, the event vividly portrayed a beautiful and peace-loving Vietnam through photos and videos. These images were a result of the perspective, contemplation, and emotions of a close Hungarian friend who holds a deep love for Vietnam. They captured experiences from various cities and provinces across Vietnam.

The "Vietnamese Cultural Night" event concluded successfully, leaving Hungarian friends with a deep appreciation for the warm-hearted Vietnamese people. It also served as a remarkable example of the exchange, solidarity, and enthusiastic cooperation between Vietnamese associations, businesses, and Hungarian friends, all dedicated to preserving and promoting the solid traditional bonds between the two nations.
