In recent times, these associations have been actively participating in activities organized and guided by the embassy, engaging in meaningful and effective initiatives focused on Vietnam. Overview of the meeting.

Representing the younger generation, Nguyen Thi Doan Trang, a second-year student of the International Relations Department at the National University of Mongolia, noted that the development of Vietnam-Mongolia relations has created many opportunities for students from both countries to exchange and study. However, she expressed hope that more young Vietnamese will become aware of and take advantage of the educational opportunities provided by the Mongolian government to Vietnam.

During the meeting, General Secretary and President To Lam expressed his joy and emotion at having the opportunity to meet and speak with the Vietnamese community in Mongolia in the warm atmosphere of the Vietnamese Embassy.

On behalf of the Party, the State, and himself, General Secretary and President To Lam sent his kind regards and best wishes for health, happiness, and warm feelings from Vietnam to the embassy staff and the entire Vietnamese community in Mongolia.

Speaking with embassy staff and representatives of the Vietnamese community, General Secretary and President To Lam highlighted the significance of his visit to Mongolia, which comes at a time when relations between the two countries are at their best. Mutual understanding and trust between the peoples of Vietnam and Mongolia have deepened, and cooperation in many fields—such as politics, defense, security, economics, and tourism—has expanded, with concrete results recently achieved.

The two sides have declared the establishment of a "Comprehensive Partnership" to mark the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations. They have also discussed significant measures to promote bilateral relations in a deeper, more effective, and sustainable manner in the future.

Updating the Vietnamese community in Mongolia on some key points about the situation in Vietnam, General Secretary and President To Lam emphasized the determination to successfully implement the resolutions of the 13th National Congress of the Party. This is the highest goal for the Party, the people, and the military as they approach 2025. Achieving this will require the highest resolve, greatest effort, and decisive actions with focused, targeted solutions to maximize all resources and means to meet and exceed the set objectives.

To reach these goals, drastic, accelerated solutions are necessary for the successful implementation of the socioeconomic development tasks for 2025, meeting the targets, and continuing to create strong progress in the years ahead. Key priorities include ensuring high economic growth alongside environmental protection, ensuring social security, improving people's lives, strengthening national defense and security, and enhancing the effectiveness of foreign affairs to continuously raise Vietnam's position and contribution to regional and global peace, stability, and development.

Regarding the Vietnamese community in Mongolia, General Secretary and President To Lam stressed the need for the community to continue fostering solidarity, striving to integrate positively, comply with local laws, and contribute to the development of the host country, thereby enhancing the Vietnam-Mongolia Comprehensive Partnership.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Mongolia should continue to play its role as a bridge between the two countries and between the ministries of both sides, effectively implementing the high-level agreements, including the joint statement on establishing the Vietnam-Mongolia Comprehensive Partnership. The embassy should also promote cooperation between the two countries in all fields.

The embassy must continue its good work within the community, protect its citizens, and effectively promote the observance of local laws by the Vietnamese community in Mongolia to prevent any legal violations that could tarnish Vietnam's image. The embassy should encourage the community to support each other in business and study for mutual benefit.

Earlier, General Secretary and President To Lam, along with the high-level Vietnamese delegation, visited the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Space.
