Hanoi aims to gain insights and advice on how to digitize, collect past, present, and future data, particularly focusing on real-time, live data to ensure efficient, non-wasteful collection that remains technologically up-to-date

On the morning of September 5, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Ha Minh Hai chaired a meeting with Martin Christopher Simpson, CEO of Bluebik Global (a global digital transformation consulting company under the Bluebik Group), to discuss various matters related to Hanoi's digital transformation efforts.

Overview of the meeting.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, Ha Minh Hai, highlighted key aspects of the city's digital transformation efforts. With the goal of "Implementing digital transformation without increasing manpower and reducing costs," Hanoi aims to gain insights and advice on how to digitize, collect past, present, and future data, particularly focusing on real-time, live data to ensure efficient, non-wasteful collection that remains technologically up-to-date. The city is also interested in online public services in virtual environments, strategies for building and maintaining systems, and effective utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) to support management and operations. Hanoi welcomes capable and dedicated investors in digital transformation, emphasizing a collaborative approach: sharing experiences, open dialogue, and working together to build a smart capital.

During the session, Martin Christopher Simpson, CEO of Bluebik Global, introduced the group's strengths and experience in advising on digital transformation strategies. Bluebik engages both experts and the public to ensure solutions are practical and locally appropriate. The company is currently developing products across three content platforms: "e-government, digital citizenship, and digital services," leveraging AI, data, and evaluation tools to tailor solutions to each country’s digital transformation needs. Simpson praised the development of Vietnam, particularly Hanoi’s high-quality human resources, which are key to digital transformation, and expressed a strong desire to collaborate, recognizing the alignment of both parties' needs and capabilities. Bluebik proposed establishing support groups for discussions and consultations to help the city achieve its digital transformation goals, opening up new opportunities for Hanoi’s future growth.

Vice Chairman Ha Minh Hai thanked Bluebik for their insights and expressed hope that both parties would continue sharing international best practices in digital transformation. He also welcomed collaboration on developing a comprehensive Digital Transformation Strategy focused on three pillars: digital government, digital economy, and digital society.

Concluding the meeting, Ha Minh Hai reaffirmed Hanoi's openness to collaborating with Bluebik and other qualified digital transformation consultants to find solutions that ensure the city's future transformation objectives are met.
